Pitt Vaccination and Health Connection Hub
Soon after COVID-19 vaccines became available, Pitt launched a vaccine clinic in the Petersen Events Center, which served the Pittsburgh campus as well as the surrounding community. This year, Pitt expanded the clinic,and it now operates in a permanent location on Fifth Avenue previously known as the Pitt CoVax Vaccination Center. The re-named Pitt Vaccination and Health Connection Hub offers wellness care and vaccinations besides just COVID-19 to essential workers, community members, students and University employees. The Hub also educates students in providing care across a variety of health sciences; not focusing on interdisciplinary differences but on working together and complementing each other in the health professions.
