Annual Security Report

The University distributes the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report by October 1st every year.

The aim of the report is to help keep you safe and to provide information required by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, as well as the Pennsylvania Uniform Crime Reporting Act. If you would like to have a paper copy of the report mailed to you, call 412-624-4040.

The Jeanne Clery Act Statistics Report contains the statistics for those offenses reported to the University of Pittsburgh Police Department, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, UPMC security, and University personnel who have significant responsibility for student life and campus activities. Pennsylvania Uniform Crime Reporting Act Statistics Report (below) contains the statistics for those offenses reported to the University of Pittsburgh Police Department only as recorded for the Uniform Crime Report (UCR).
