As the third-largest law enforcement agency in Allegheny County, we oversee security for the 132-acre Pittsburgh campus and other University facilities. Our department includes around 100 commissioned officers, with specialized units such as a motorcycle unit, bicycle unit, K-9 unit (including two K-9s), and a Special Emergency Response Team (SERT). Additionally, we have ten communications personnel, 46 security guards, and four administrative professionals supporting our operations.
