Target Audience: Any full, part-time and temporary employees who handle hazardous materials (i.e. chemicals) in a non-laboratory work setting.
Description: An overview of the requirements contained in the Hazard Communication Regulation (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200), including employee's rights under the Regulation, how to prevent exposure to hazardous substances, how to read labels and review MSDS's.
Training Requirements: Training must be completed prior to an employee handling any hazardous material. Initial training is completed via an online module.
